Horsey horsey

Getting lost seemed to be a theme of this holiday. Our cottage was tucked down miles of identical winding country lanes with tall hedges. When we found our way back after a trip to Hay and a drive around the hills (would have been a walk but Jacob fell asleep!), we had beautiful sunshine and great walks from our door.
Jacob wasn't so keen on the carrier I hired for walking but once he realised he could do horsey horsey in it he soon cheered up! Fantastic slow cooked lamb from the farm for dinner, cooked in the Stanley. We chucked it in before our walk and left it for the afternoon while we enjoyed ourselves. How I imagine every weekend living in the country would be!
