It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas cake making today x3, one for my mum, one for us and then a spare to eat before the festive season. I'm ahead of schedule this year, it's usually the half term week when I realise how close Christmas is. No doubt it will still be a last minute rush to marzipan (can't buy that early or it strangely disappears out of the cupboard!) and ice. Nice tradition though to spend the afternoon cake baking with my daughter. The whole house smells of Christmas cake just now! Surely all that fruit can't be fattening??
