It's over and done with
One weekend, two cinemas, two films :-)
Friday at the Robert Burns Centre Film Theatre, a small and lovely independent cinema on the banks of the Nith. 'About Time' was the film.( I am a big Richard Curtis fan. He seems like a real 'people person') . The soundtrack was great, too. I downloaded it and listened to it while I was cooking yesterday. My favourite track was Nick Cave's 'Into my arms'. What a voice that man has...
Today we were at the Dumfries Odeon. Unusually for a town of this size, the Odeon has only one screen. Today's film was 'Sunshine on Leith', more great tunes but no need to download them as I already have every single Proclaimers album. How great to watch a film in which the actors looked like real people. And doesn't Edinburgh scrub up well? We stayed for the credits so we could cheer when we saw the ' assistant to Black Camel Productions - our friend Naysun Alae-Carew' :-)
Isn't it nice when you leave the cinema singing?
