Sinking in

Still only sinking in that a group of my marvellous mates have been planning for ages - plotting, with Katja's connivance - to give me the most lovely surprise this weekend.

Not distance, cost, diary commitments, nor childcare arrangements could deter them - not even England's persistent drizzle now winter has arrived.

Yet it's over already - just as I am realising how blessed I am to have such fantastic friends. Thank you guys!
