Catching the Drip

During today's flash photography workshop in Bellevue, WA, one of the stations we set up was designed to stop action using flash. A paintbrush was dipped in paint and, as the drops started falling, students were able to capture them in mid-air by using high-speed sync and with a very short flash duration.
