Oktoberfest

The wife's birthday. Up and out to get her a birthday bouquet and donut. No expense spared! We went to the Oktoberfest in olivenhain just east of Encinitas. Run by the local town council at the meeting hall I first went here just after I moved out to SD. All the locals come and set up their chairs in the grounds and you can get all you can eat brats for $15 or food and all you can drink local beers for $30. I was DD so only sampled the wife's. However I made up for it with several plates of suausgae, sauerkraut and strudel. We were joined by some good friends and had a great time. Sadly we left babe at home not thinking it would be dog friendly. There were loads of other dogs there so we will definitely remember to bring her next time!
