"For The Good Of The Garden"...

...Just a few drops of rain we had yesterday, for the good of the garden, and as well, to rinse off the red dust from the outside blinds and rooftops and brighten things up a little..

...And before it rained, one of our lovely neighbours who had recently lost her husband, brought around these beautiful roses - "Peace" they are, but I'm sure you would know that anyway, they're such a pretty rose, not much fragrance to them, but still very lovely..like our neighbour...

...I should be taking her some roses actually, she is all alone now, but we have chats on the phone and she pops around to see us, and we, her..Her husband was sick for some time after falling out of the Apple tree..

...She has some fowls and canaries and a sweet garden too, with lots of fruit trees, and we share the fruit and she gives us fresh eggs, the daily paper after she's read it and we give her some silver beet, or whatever she hasn't got in her garden..and what a good neighbour she is..

...We are blessed to have such good neighbours...
