Angelica flower

The weather here was far from angelic today but this Angelica flower made up for it - they have such a stark, almost architectural, beauty. The green is gorgeous; another lensbaby shot.

I did manage to get the lawns mown, after a heavy downpour first thing and then before another one this afternoon. I'm going to be going up to Auckland at the end of the week and was worried I'd be coming back to a hayfield if I didn't get them done - everything is growing rampantly.
