We traveled up to Northern State Hospital today in hopes to take a few pictures at what we heard was a beautiful old abandoned mental health asylum and also give ourselves a scare as this is listed as one of the most haunted places in the Northwest. We did find the abandoned facility, however, there was also a fully functioning mental health hospital on the grounds. As we walked the beautiful grounds of the abandoned part I talked the boys into letting me take a few pictures near the decrepit building. Our session was cut short by a security guard who drove up and asked us in not the friendliest manner to leave. I was disappointed that we had to leave, however, while we were shooting, before we were visited by the guard we heard a crash in the building which completely spooked me and gave me the thrill I was looking for. I'm still having trouble looking back through the pictures I took as I keep thinking I'm going to see something in the shadows. LOL
