Darari OBI
OBI ( literally "sash") is a sash for traditional Japanese dress, keikogi worn for Japanese martial arts, and part of kimono outfits.
DARARI OBI "dangling" OBI, are a special type worn by MAIKO (apprentice GEIKO).
While most OBI are around 30-33 cm long, these OBI are much longer, 7 meters long, to accommodate the beautiful and instantly-recognizable waterfall-style "DARARI" knot sported by MAIKO only. They also feature the crests of their geisha house on the very end of the OBI, another distinctive trait that separates these OBI from normal, fancy OBI worn by women in general.
