Stormy sisters..........

A big birthday for a friend of Rob's on Saturday and we decided to make a long weekend of it and walk along the coastal path at the Seven Sisters near Eastbourne.

BUT - the weather on Friday had other ideas so we retired to the national trust cafe at Birling Gap instead! It cleared up marginally so snapped this photo of the stormy clouds from the viewing point on my little compact.

Despite the weather the sea was a stunning pale blue colour, much more suited to postcards of the Maldives than the UK. I think its due to the chalk running into the sea.

Luckily we had gorgeous weather on the Saturday - so a white cliff photo will be uploaded shortly!
