Boot trouble

This is not what you want to see half way through a remote trip, where dry and warm feet are a must.

This happened last year and the shop told me I must have a rogue pair and replaced them, this pair are worse, with the cuff also failing and holes like this in the front of both - the ice gathers there as I ski and rips it open.

I can tape it up and hope to get through, and think of a different solution for next year.
