Some Project Thing.

Apparently you can borrow taxidermy animals from the booth museum for a month. YES. So I'm going to go and pick something tomorrow to do some work with. Today I was taking some pictures on a long shutter speed. In our historical/critical studies lectures we were learning about how the first cameras had an 8 or so hour exposure time. As that time got reduced over the years and people began to have their portraits taken, people had to have their heads braced into position because the exposure time was still about 20 minutes. After that came the idea of somebody resting their head on their hand to look 'thoughtful' - although it was really a means of steadying the head.
