Icelandic Horse

I was really looking for a brown horse with pale hair - as to me they all look a little Tina Turner!

Today we started out from Reykjavik to drive to the Snaefellsnes peninsula. T wanted some horse pictures so we stopped here for some and then carried on further down the road. While stopping to take some pictures of a mountain or two we encountered a friendly dog - who seemed to be rather keen to get into our pictures!

This time round we found the Black Church at Búðir - we stopped for a few pictures (and to bask in the lovely sunshine!). Our next stop was the columns and arches at Arnarstapi - needless to say I didn't get too close to the cliff edges!

We spent the night in Grundarfjörður (in the same hotel as last time) hoping to get some photos of the pretty mountain next to it the next morning.
