Postcard from the edge

Blipcard from sunny Portugal! After a 3.30 am rise, and the usual malarkey from Ryanair (pay extra for car seat, pay extra for your seat, pay for food, if you want to breathe we charge by volume)....we all ended up scattered in separate seats. Arrived at 9 am ...25 degrees.. And a swanky hire car that's nice and clean. Apartment isn't as nice as our previous visits, but it's bright and sunny and the fridge keeps the beer cool. I lasted 3 hours without wifi and eventually crumbled. Paid 25 euro for the week (not bad really) and we have happy children and a happy blipper. I doubt we will manage an adventure into Tavira tonight. We are all tired. Pizza and ice cream, a ack of cards, and the company of some friends we brought with us. Only 59 books on my Kindle to go.
