Marble Cake Mountain

Been a funny day!
Early dog walk with Caley, cancelled meeting about a kitchen, the muck magnet dropped off for day care, soup and cake made and then a hastily rearranged meeting about a kitchen. Not my kitchen unfortunately but the village hall one: a revamp planned with help from a grant and some fundraising. A soon to be announced Champagne Afternoon Tea in November being our first event! So a chat with some kitchen planners with me as kitchen 'expert' from the committee. Made me laugh too!!

Lunch then a bramble picking walk with S and help from Lucy and Caley; their input was invaluable, lol!
And home to......a power cut! Fire on and camping stove out and the electricity came back on just after I'd finished cooking the boys dinner. Still we 're nice and cosy in front of the fire now!
