FedEx Field

A long but fun day.

Up early for a jaunt in to work to get a few tasks completed for the weekend, then back home to pick up coolers and rain coats, and pick up master A. at Middle School.

A drive to DC, a stop to see Lil, then met up with Dan, Helen and cousin C . Dan drove to Landover and bought a scalped parking pass . Helen brought a grill and burgers and we "tailgated". Beltway traffic was horrific even at 3 PM with the game starting at 8PM. I'm really glad we went early.

The rain was minimal and cooled off the August heat.

The game was only a preseason exhibition game between the New England Patriots and the Washington Redskins but it was a great game nontheless.

New England won in the last 9 seconds by a field goal 27 to 24.

The drive home at 1am was a little fatiguing but we arrived safely...
