Windmill

The long weekend continues. Not done much today, a bit of pottering about the house. This windmill is in the local museum, as our house is built adjacent the museum lands I am fortunate enough to see it from just down the road. I do like windmills, I'm fascinated that for many many years they provided the main source of power to enable make the things we need- they use the resources around us without generating any pollution. A slower pace of life, perhaps that's what we need to get back to. Three things for the day 1. Waking up and not having to drive into work 2. Delicious lunch 3. Chats with the ladies at the book group
