The Black Cuillin
Another fab day on Skye. After a leisurely breakfast of croissants we spent a bit of time trying to photograph the herons before heading up Blabheinn with the intent of experimenting with photographing the waterfalls. On the way down we met an interesting guy who had moved up to Skye recently and ran photography courses so we compared notes. We then drove up to the Fairy Pools to take more waterfall photographs with the backdrop of a classic climb, water pipe gully which I was silly enough to do in my youth (it looked horrible and slimy when we entered the bottom pitch today). The Fairy Pools are beautiful and feature an underwater arch, a must for all wild swimmers! Then it was time to head home with the westering sun on our back and a final photo, today's blip.
