The day finally came good

Today, the weather in Stirling has been pretty unstimulating for most of the day, with drizzle and rain alternating with flat, grey light, dreadful for photography. Until, that is, the end of the working day, when it finally cleared and we had a bit of blue sky. This was kind enough to happen during my extended bike ride home and I greatly enjoyed this view of the improving conditions from the footbridge over the tidal River Forth between Cambuskenneth and Stirling's Riverside. Light levels were falling as early evening approached and there's a pleasing monochrome-ish look to this, but with hints of colour.
