9 months old

Charlie is now 9 months old. Another month has flown by so quickly.

He can:

- crawl at remarkable speed
- pull himself up on furniture, his favourites being the TV stand and the coffee table
- pull himself up whilst holding a toy or other random object
- cruise along furniture
- cruise one-handed and pass himself from the table to his walker to the sofa
- grasp small items - like an annoying hair- using his newly acquired pincer grip
- say 'dada dada'
- flash TWO pearly whites- though they're more like jagged little peaks - on his bottom gum
- 'post things' like pens, medicine spoons and other small objects into nooks and crannys such as the fire place
- open doors, no matter how old and heavy- especially the living room door
- dance (by bouncing up and down)


His weight gain has slowed down and he's now 17lb 9oz. That's only a few ounces more than last month but given how active he is, and his ear infection, chest infection and the sickness bug he had it's probably unsurprising! I imagine he's lost any additional weight he's had given the state of some of his nappies (sorry!)
