......a close shave........

If you thought last week's quiz was hard....you should have been with us tonight.
At home to the Rose and Crown Ramsbottom....we too are The Rose and Crown...so it's billed as The Roses match...but what a box of chocolates has to do with a pub quiz I'm buggered if I know.

The quiz was so difficult tonight it was variously described as biased....hard....impossible....annoying.....and a load of bollocks!

The scoring went like this:
Round 1 Lost 2-3
round 2. Lost 2-6
Total 4-9
Round 3. Lost 4-6
Total 8-15
Round 4. Drew 4-4
Half time score 12-19

A fag break.....a moan...a threat to quit and go home......but mainly a chance to break the opposition's concentration

Round 5. Won 5-4
Total 17-21
Round 6. Won 8-6
Total 25-27
Round 7 Won 6-4
Total 31-31
The final round see-sawed
33-33
33-34
35-34
and then the last two questions....we had to get ours right...and we did
Won the round 6-5

Final score 37-36!

Here's a few for you to try

Bearing in mind that the questions are supposed to be matched see 1 & 2 for an example of how biased some of them were.....two questions on the same theme...the oppositions fairly easy...ours nigh on impossible...you couldn't even have a guess at the answer.
