Uppsala's Great cathedral
I have longed for a while to see this great cathedral, the tallest in all of Scandinavia and ironically the burial place of Carl Linnaeus, the father of modern botany and Binomial nomenclature . I trod accidental over his burial stone near the entrance of the cathedral.
I didn't realize most of the cathedral burned in the great Uppsala fire of 1702, what we see is a large restoration carried out over 2 centuries, The current neogothic spires were added in the 19century
