Giving Thanks . . .

Thanksgiving Day today . . . great weather, so we went for a 1.5 hour trek round Hungry Hollow - steep muddy incline into the floodplain, long walk along the boardwalk, across a couple of bridges, then the steep upward clamber up to the top of the ravine and back onto the roadway.

Jools was full of thanks when we staggered into the house. "Thank God, that's over. Thank God, I don't have to cook turkey for sinner tonight. Thank God for that bottle of red wine we opened last night . . ."
