Blue Leaves

I smiled when our grand daughter brought over her drawings of colored leaves, inspired by the real thing! She had them in the pages of a magazine, between paper towels to dry and press them.

A few days ago I asked what color the leaves were turning. Her younger brother immediately piped up and said "blue" (all colors are blue to him), to which she promptly said, "No, there are no blue leaves. They turn yellow and red." So, I smiled when I saw her blue leaves.

I added the "twirl" effect to give the impression of motion. It is still very lovely outdoors, and our granddaughter particularly likes the crunching sound of walking on fallen leaves. Given her drawing, I suspect she also enjoys the brilliant colors of fall.
