A day in the life... of a civil engineer.

So before you ask, this has absolutely no connection to our project in Uganda, nor any relevance, as we're mechanical engineers. But we just decided to go visit our boys Radie King and Daniel at their construction site for kicks. We met these guys the night before and went to a club with them, so as far as they're concerned, we're best friends now. Best part is they didn't think we'd show up when we said we'd come visit them!


Anyway, everyone else has finally arrived: Johannes, Anirudh, Matt and Seetal. Or as they would soon be known as: Alan, Alan, Alan and Seedy, due to an unfortunate encounter with an old seedy guy called Alan that happened at lunch. That story would become infamous and our lives would never be the same it seems.

We spent half the day at Colin's house, getting briefed on our projects and starting work on them. I won't go into details, but lets just say its gonna be a good couple of weeks ahead of us!
