Blood

That time again for a visit to the phlembotomist or as she is known around here, the local blood sucker to be drained of copious amounts of blood for the various ailments from which I suffer. Had the butterfly needle today which I did not even know was in my arm until the red stuff started to flow into the bucket on the floor.

Right exaggeration over and three phials later all was done with results to follow. BP taken which was 120 / 72 which for me is a great score and flu jab given.

To be honest I wince more when the plaster comes off than when the needle goes in. Typical male I suppose in that there may have been some slight gilding of the lily but then I will have full blown flu tomorrow.
