New Life

I witnessed this new life being born.
Really special to see.
This female calf is the cow's firstborn and she's already such a
good caring mother.
Really sad though that the farmer only let's the
calf stay with its mother for 24 hours before it
is moved to a separate pen.
All the calves born on the farm are female and sold for milk
herds elsewhere in the country.
