Our Builder

Our builder came today to exchange our old toilet for a new one. He said he would be here at 0800 hours; he was and had completed the work by 1130 hours. This was just to replace the toilet, which will have to be moved again when they do the main work, but the old toilet needed attention.

As some of you know we are having some building work done; we have been talking about this for years! Our old bathroom will be replaced with a wet room with easy access for us when we get older. We will also have another shower and toilet, which will be in a downstairs cloakroom. Our home is Victorian and was buggered messed about with by the previous owners who clearly had no idea what they were doing; we now plan to update it.

This builder is excellent and did a lot of work in our daughter’s home, so we know the high standard of his work. Although not the cheapest, he is definitely the best, so he is worth waiting for. One of our friends has recently had a new bathroom fitted and the standard of work is appalling; this builder is worth waiting for.

I shall not blip the old toilet, or the new one although I have taken pictures as a record; instead you have the builder’s vehicle and tools parked in our drive.
