There's a Hole in My Bucket ...

In the back yard hangs a small bucket to a bent iron rod stuck in the ground. In the bucket is a number of holes.

This afternoon, my eye fell on it during a heavy downpour. I made a close-up of the scene and thought that famous phrase from the children's song that is so beautifully performed by Harry Belafonte and Odetta:

There's a Hole in My Bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza
