Southwold Pier

I'm not the first to blip this, but I couldn't resist the temptation, when my original photographic plans were thwarted.

I wanted to photograph the shoreline from the pier but the tide was out and what little sunshine there was, was coming straight down the lens. Additionally, the town was generally looking the worse for wear, with major work along the front to address slippage of the cliffs -onto those fabulously expensive beach huts.
