Chilled

In an attempt to get a good nights sleep, Mr A got me this sleep mat.
It's made of a gel substance which stays cool for up to 6 hours. Therein lies no pun intended the problem. It's freezing when I get into bed!

Then over the next few hours it gradually absorbs my body heat and gets warm; I wake up as hot as before.
We've decided to keep it as it will be great in summer when we need to be cool at night.
I did have a lightbulb moment for a great invention; a refrigerated under blanket (as opposed to a heated one) but apparently they are already in existence for the princely sum of £390 :-0 Back to the drawing board :-(
