Hallo halo

Another grey day in Edinburgh brightened up by this permanent neon installation in the cafe area of the Fruitmarket Gallery

As the name suggests, the building originally housed a fruit and vegetable market right next to Edinburgh's Waverley station. The gallery opened in 1974 and in 1994 it was renovated to what you see today.

The café is a very popular place to eat and to see and be seen. It makes me uncomfortable.
