Ben Vorlich trig point
Nice big walk today.
The weather looked better so we parked down by the lochside and walked up the 'gentle looking' slope in the picture to the trig point on the top of Ben Vorlich (985m). Not completely satisfied with this we then trundled down the other side and scrambled up the imposing prow of Stuc a'Chroin (975m). Needless to say we are now fed and happy (great fish'n'chips at Mhor fish in Callander), but stiffening up rapidly after 7 hours on the hoof. Looks like tomorrow may be a compulsory 'rest day'.
