The Ugly Sisters

These two trees capture my interest every time I drive past them.

They may be Macrocarpa trees. Or they could possibly be alien trees, grown from a seed that dropped from a passing spaceship.

Maybe they've been struck by lightning, or perhaps someone had a few too many vodkas, then decided what a marvellous idea it would be to do some midnight pruning.

Either way, they're quite a sight!
