Time Passing
When I lived in he city I walked everywhere. Now I live in the country I have to "go for a walk". And that means into the woods or down to the lake. And we don't even have a dog! In case it's not obvious, today was 'into the woods'. There are a lot of lakes in the woods though, so it could be confusing. I found this overgrown puddle was on the way to the log cabin. The log cabin makes for an interesting destination (it overlooks a pond with a beaver lodge on it). On the other hand, it's on private land and it is obviously belongs to someone, even if they only visit occasionally. I don't want to get shot at, so I'm always slightly nervous on the trail.
Raining like a $%#@! all day, so I am quite proud of myself for getting out at all. I'm going to have to make a solid effort or I'll turn into a potato.
