Tonopah Headframe
Today was another day of running around the mountains in the middle of no-where Nevada.
This is one of the original headframes from the 1900's in Tonopah. Tonopah was one of large gold mining area from the 1900 to 1930's. Today, the main land area in Tonopah is part of a historic mining park.
I also spent time in Goldfield. The Courthouse and the Firehouse are original buildings from the early 1900's.
Later in the afternoon, I drove back to Reno, passing by Walker Lake.
