Competition entry

This is most definitely an emergency blip!

After last night's talk in the Borders, I had to drag myself out of bed to go to the Wash Up meeting for the Festival. The meeting went well, but there are always learning points for the future and we worked hard until lunchtime.

I was just thinking about retreating for an afternoon nap, when I remembered to check when the first competition entries were due in. It was tonight. I quickly had to print off this one and choose another two images, thankfully already mounted.

This was taken with flash in less than ideal conditions. You will see how the flash has affected the image if you compare it with the original in an earlier blip. I'm glad to say the actual print looks quite good and I might have it on the wall after the comp.

At the photo club this evening we saw the results of 2 assignments. One was the terrier show and the other the club holiday to Valencia. I had prints in the first. These sort of evenings are very enjoyable.

I need a week of catching up now.
