Holy Island

Went across the causeway to the island you have to be aware of tide times as the water rushes in very quickly. It is a beautiful island with a harbour and more houses, small shops and farm than I realised. This is a view of Lindesfarne Castle taken from the old Priory. The castle was very interesting and had great views from the top.
