Godrevy Light

Back blip (Still in the pub with wi-fi)

I went to St Ives on the train from Lelant, it was nice ride along the Hayle estuary, and then along the coast to Carbis Bay and then into St Ives. It was bit gloomy to start with, and then we had a shower, before it brightened up in the afternoon. I visited the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum and Garden. I also had a walk around all of the wonderfull narrow back streets of St Ives looking in some of the galleries.

In the late afternoon I went to Godrevy Point on the north coast to have a walk on the beach and rocks and to watch the sunset. I had a look in some rock pools and I saw some small fish zooming around the pools, waiting for the tide to come back and rescue them.

I watched the sun go down near Godrevy Point lighthouse. It was nice to watch, but there wasn't probably wasn't enough cloud to catch the colour of the sunset. As I was walking back along the cliffs the Moon had come out so it was nice walking back in the moonlight and watching the last of the surfers coming back onto the beach.
