Today I decided I must be getting quite old. And a bit boring. Why, you ask? Well, I got my oven professionally cleaned, and I found it rather exciting (and a little embarrassing at how dirty it was). It is now all sparkling clean, just like when it was new.

The man who cleaned it also informed me it was a 'self cleaning' oven. Imagine my disappointment when he explained that that didn't actually mean it would magically start cleaning itself from now on.

Now that would be exciting...
