Memories of war...
This is a detail of one of the many Great War memorials scattered all over Argyll. This one in on Loch Awe, by St Conan's Kirk, and commemorates the ten men from that tiny community who died in that war. I suspect that was a massive proportion of the male population. I drive past these memorials all the time, with their common theme of Scottish soldiers and Celtic crosses, but I may stop a bit now and take some Blips to pick on the detail of that nearly 100 year war...
