Anthem

The air show was awesome. We had a great time biking out there, walking around, meandering through the exhibits and planes, and watching the show.

The show officially started when the paratroopers jumped out of their C-23 Sherpa, unfurled the flag, and came down to us while a local woman sang the national anthem.

There was also acrobatic demonstrations, scale model flying, WWII dog-fighting, fire plane routines, and new military plane demonstrations (including the C-17 and the A-10 Warthog). Very cool indeed.

We also met some nice folks from the Butte Bicycle Coalition at the bike parking area.

My only regret: not wearing sunscreen. I'll be paying for this one for a while.
