Wet Field and Little Pops of Color

On the go, go, go today in the rain, rain, rain... This weather sure makes photography a challenge. But I'd better get used to blippin' in the rain, as the forecast calls for precipitation through the middle of next week.

Today I spotted this field while out on an errand. I pulled over, got out the camera, trudged through the wet field and squatted in the tall grass to get the right angle. (I managed to keep my camera dry, but my sox were a different story... Need to keep those boots in the car...) Something about the little bits of red scattered throughout the field before the one lone tree was appealing to me; and worth the wet sox. ;)
