Trying to cool off!

It's a hot one today. 103? It stops mattering after 95 or so.

We caught a movie at noon at the $3 theater. Saw "Up!" I loved it! Then the Girl Scouts were holding their bridging ceremony at the park. My daughter (one on the right) bridged from brownies to juniors. The ceremony was unorganized, too long, and you couldn't hear any of the speakers. With the heat, we were fading (melting?) fast.

Afterwards, they gathered at the tables for a potluck. Not quite enough food, but lots of yummy desserts. The girls found a bucket of water, some big sponges and cups - waterfight materials!! They had a blast!

Now we are home, cooling down. My poor son has a 103.5 temperature. I wonder if it from the heat or if he's coming down with something. Gave him meds, a tepid bath, a nap. Long day!
