Changing Face of the High Street - 1
Anyone who knows Crieff will know that Frank Thomson's is something of an institution. There are similar shops in small town high streets around Scotland - if they're lucky. Places where you can buy everything from a gun to a teatowel while picking up a few lightbulbs, a Le Creuset casserole, a screwdriver and some glue. Nails and screws and hooks aren't sold in blister packs - instead they can be bought singly. You can have secateurs sharpened and keys cut. Every town should have a Frank Thomson's. What has motivated me to blip this? Its been put up for sale :-( Here's hoping its bought as a going concern.
