The Secret Garden

This is the view (down) from the 7th Floor of the new Library of Birmingham from which you gain access to the (high level) Secret Garden - though judging by the numbers of people out there today it is not exactly a well kept secret! The access lift is referred to as the Scenic Lift - a more apt description would really be the very small and very hot lift. I thought that this looked slightly surreal from this angle.
