Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Across the moor once more dear friends.

It turns out that the earth tongues that I photographed the other days are of some considerable interest. So, this morning it was a quick trek across the moor to collect a specimen so that it can be sent off to be probed and prodded by an expert in the dark art of identifying obscure fungal things.
It was just the morning for a brisk walk, cold, damp and generally winter-like. I do so enjoy the muted reds, browns and greens of the autumn landscape.
