Admission pending

Today has been a long eventful day. Spent 5 hours at the hospital meeting with the neurosurgeon and after lots of tests and frank discussions re pros & cons a left sided L5/S1 microdisectomy procedure was agreed on. To help speed things along I then went to the pre surgery assessment clinic. While waiting to be seen by the clinic nurse I received a call from the estate agent selling my mums house to say the house she is buying has received a higher offer and because missives had not yet been concluded they were backing out unless she upped her offer. Completely blew us out of the water as raising the offer is not possible so we are now faced with her buyers moving into her current home on 8th November and we have limited time to now find her a property to move into. As you can probably imagine this news did not bode well for a nurse to try taking my blood pressure, 148/90 is seemingly not advisable in blood pressure terms so then hooked up to ECG monitor. Thankfully it came down otherwise surgery was going to be off the cards until it was under control. Anyway been an eventful day and totally exhausted so early night in order
