Michigan

I spent the day photographing downtown Detroit today. Its amazing to see how the fortunes of a city can change here in the USA. There are lot of old tumble down buildings and homeless people but with our centralised system in the UK a city wouldn't go bust because the rich had moved to the burbs taking their cash and pensions would still be paid even if the motor industry relocated 30 miles away.
I chatted to this homeless guy for a while. He showed me around some of the buildings.
